Gas Seal Panels for gas compressors

Supply of 6 pcs Gas Seal Panels for High Pressure and Low Pressure applications on compressor packages. Each panel has been designed, fabricated and assembled ‘in-house’. These units were fabricated conforming to the highest level of industry standards and extensively tested. End destination Middle East.

What a gas seal panel controls

Gas seal panels monitor and regulate the seal gas supply to a compressor’s dry gas seals, the barrier that keeps process gas from escaping along the rotating shaft. The panel typically manages filtration, pressure regulation and flow control for the primary, separation and buffer gas streams, and provides instrumentation so operators can monitor seal performance and detect abnormal conditions early. Reliable seal gas control protects the seals from contamination and pressure upsets that could otherwise lead to seal failure and unplanned compressor shutdown.

Covering both high- and low-pressure duty

Supplying panels for both high pressure and low pressure applications meant the design had to account for two distinct sets of operating conditions within a single scope of supply. Each panel was engineered for its specific duty, so the compressor packages received seal gas control equipment matched precisely to the pressure regime it serves, rather than a single generic design applied across both.

Full in-house design, fabrication and assembly

Handling design, fabrication and assembly entirely in-house allowed FB Group to maintain close control over quality and consistency across all six panels. Working to the highest level of industry standards throughout the process, combined with extensive testing before dispatch, gives confidence that each panel will perform reliably once installed and commissioned on the compressor packages at their end destination in the Middle East. Testing each panel individually before it leaves the workshop also means functional issues are identified and corrected early, reducing the risk of delays once the panels reach site and are tied into the wider compressor packages.
